Duke of Ed Announces Enhanced Support for Victoria

June 3, 2024

Growing support in response to increased demand for non-formal education and learning

Saturday, 01 June 2024 marked an important milestone for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia. Off the back of a record year of new registrations in 2023, and the ever-growing demand for non-formal education and learning, we are pleased to announce increased support for our Victorian Duke of Ed Centres and volunteers.

Peter Kaye AM ESM, Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia National CEO says, “Victoria is one of our largest markets of Duke of Ed Framework Users. With the growing demand for students to provide verified evidence of a non-formal education and learning portfolio, the Duke of Ed is substantially growing its capacity by moving towards a centralised support model to ensure young Australians can readily access the Duke of Ed Framework.

“Our enhanced support will provide Duke of Ed Centres with key benefits such as common digital platforms, greater back-office support systems and more on the ground staff supporting volunteer efforts in Victoria.  All of this is designed for the Duke of Ed to be more readily used across Duke of Ed Centres state-wide.”, said Kaye.

For any questions on using the Duke of Ed Framework or, supporting the Duke of Ed in your state, contact details are available via https://dukeofed.com.au/contact/.

For any queries around the above announcement, please contact Erin Martin, Manager Victoria via [email protected] or 1300 438 537 Prompt 2
