The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia and our State and Territory Award Offices deliver a range of training sessions and events each year. These include:
Gold Award Ceremonies
Each State and Territory Award Office holds Gold Award Ceremonies. Participants will receive an invitation to attend a Gold Award ceremony usually within 12 months of completing their Gold Award. Award Leaders are also invited to attend the Ceremony and are presented to the Governor or dignitary after the Award Participants have received their certificate.

Award Leader Training
It is mandatory for all Award Leaders to complete Award Leader Training so that they are fully aware of the implications and responsibilities involved with operating the Award.
