Marking the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

It is with great sadness that our charity, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award - Australia, and our friends throughout the world within The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Association, acknowledge the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

The Queen was a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to public service. We are grateful that she used her influence to help shape and enrich the lives of generations within the countries of the Commonwealth and beyond.

The inspirational support of the Royal Family has enabled The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award to empower millions of young people with the skills, confidence and self-belief to reach their full potential.

We are grateful for their support, and thank especially His Royal Highness, The Earl of Wessex and Forfar, for his continued leadership of the Award worldwide.

Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this sad time.
