The Hon Larry Anthony was appointed an Officer of the Order Australia

We are delighted to share the news that The Hon Larry Anthony was appointed an Officer of the Order Australia, as announced by the Governor General in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

Larry has been recognised for his numerous and diverse distinguished contribution to the people, Parliament of Australia, to political institutions, to business, politics and to youth leadership organisations, primarily through The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia where he has contributed enormously as Chair of National Board (2005 -2012) and Chair of The Friends of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award from (2012 to present).

In 2017 Larry was Awarded the Gold Distinguished Service Medal which is Award’s highest accolade recognising eminent and exceptional service and achievement.

From his numerous Duke of Edinburgh friends and colleagues we congratulate Larry and recognise his family’s contributions towards Larry’s work supporting young Australians.
