Please note, these steps are a guide only. It’s best to check in with your Leader, especially if you are completing the Duke of Ed with your entire year group, as the order of steps may change.

Leader approves activities, goals and Assessors via the ORB before you can start.
Log progress for Physical Recreation, Skills and Voluntary Service in the ORB. Progress must be regular (i.e. 1 hr/week, 2 hrs/fortnight or 4 hrs/month). Use full sentences for logs.
Adventurous Journey (AJ): Complete preparation and training (theory), a Practice Journey (optional for Bronze) and a Qualifying Journey with a report. Gold Level also includes a 5-day Residential Project (GRP).
Use Duke of Ed checklist to review Sections, then share with Assessor for sign-off.
Submit signed off Sections with Assessor reports to your Leader for approval.
Leader reviews and approves all Sections. Duke of Ed office completes final sign-off.
Receive completion recognition: digital credential plus certificate and badge.
Wait for your Duke of Ed Leader to action before progressing.
