Monday, May 25th, 2026 - Registration from 7am

Shotgun Start at 8am - Individual Stableford Format

Location: Commonwealth Golf Club - Melbourne

 

Entry Fee $1,500 per player (includes tax deductible donation of $600)

Entry fee includes:

NOTE: Winners will need a current official WHS handicap to qualify for the World Finals

Major Prize

The Duke of Edinburgh World Finals, England

The two players with the best scores will be invited to play The Duke of Edinburgh World Finals in England, September 2026.

The winning invitation includes the following expenses*:

  • Hotel accommodation for five nights
  • The Duke of Edinburgh World Finals registration, contested over two days
  • Round one at Wentworth Golf Club followed by lunch
  • Round two at Windlesham Golf Club followed by lunch
  • An invitation to play at The Royal Household Golf Club at Windsor Castle
  • Funds towards return airfares to London
  • Invitation to the Gala Prize Giving Dinner in Windsor Castle with a senior member of the Royal Family in attendance

*A partner/guest is welcome to accompany the qualifiers and may share the hotel room, but functions, golf, meals and other expenses will be at the partners’/guests’ own cost

Event Guidelines

  • Event is to be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as laid down by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, Golf Australia, and any additional local rule that the golf club has in place.
  • All decisions on the rules will be decided by the tournament organisers and International Golf Charity (IGC) whose decision shall be final.
  • A player must have a current valid handicap to qualify for the World Finals.
  • A player must be 18 yrs of age on or before the start date of the World Finals.
  • Dress Code: Please refer to the Commonwealth Golf Club dress code requirements.
  • It is to be an 18-hole Stableford competition. Playing handicap is 85% after slope adjustment with a maximum handicap index of 28 for Men and 36 for Ladies.
  • Ties to be decided by count back of last nine, six, three, two and final hole of the course regardless of the order played. If still the same then the last six, three, two and final holes of the front nine. If there is still no result, there will be a sudden death play-off using Stableford scoring with full handicap.
