May 18, 2018

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia has partnered with the Queensland Government’s Embracing 2018 Legacy Program to ensure the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games leave a legacy of a healthier, more active future for Australia’s youth.

Get Moving with The Duke of Ed encourages young people to do the Award and to get involved in a sport or other physical activity that they may not have had the funds to otherwise access.

A limited number of individual grants of up to $400 (plus GST) have been allocated to support young people aged between 14-25 years of age to undertake an Award with focus on the Physical Recreation section.
