Become a Duke of Ed Leader
Why become a Duke of Ed Leader?
Duke of Ed Leaders play a critical role in supporting the personal development of our young Duke of Ed Users as they work towards their goals. Delivering the Duke of Ed in your school or community group can be incredibly rewarding.

What does a Duke of Ed Leader do?
As a Duke of Ed Leader, you are more than just a mentor—you are the driving force behind a young person’s journey of self-discovery, resilience, and achievement. Whether you’re leading solo or working alongside fellow Leaders, your role is to ignite passion, build confidence, and create lasting impact. Over the course of their Duke of Ed Level journey, you’ll support young people through challenges, celebrate their successes, and inspire them to stay motivated in becoming world ready.
Equipped with specialised training and supportive tools through our Leader hub ‘DukeConnect’, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills to guide each Framework User through their unique experience, ensuring they feel supported and motivated every step of the way.
Your enthusiasm, encouragement, and leadership is vital in transforming obstacles into opportunities, shaping a new generation of confident, resilient, and purpose-driven young people.
Every Duke of Ed journey is different, and as a Leader, you’ll have the insight to adapt, uplift, and empower each Framework User according to their strengths and needs. Your ability to connect, inspire, and champion their success will make all the difference.
