Sunday September 3 is the Australian National Flag Day and this year we are celebrating the 116th Anniversary.
The Australian National Flag is Australia’s foremost national symbol. It was first flown in 1901 and has become an expression of Australian identity and pride.
Australian National Flag Day celebrates the first time the flag was flown on 3 September 1901 and is an opportunity for individuals, community organisations, local authorities, businesses and schools to celebrate with pride the anniversary of the Australian National Flag.
