On Tuesday November 10, 2015 The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award- Australia held its inaugural NSW Alumni networking function. The event was held at the residence of Award Ambassadors Quintin & Donella Freeman in Potts Point and provided the opportunity for Alumni, Award Ambassadors and National Board members to network and reconnect with the Award.
These Alumni and supporters receptions will become a regular feature on the Alumni calendar in every capital city. We see this as the Award continuing to do what it does best, even after you have completed your Award ie. providing the framework and opportunities for ongoing personal development, often involving people and places that you may not normally access.
