Funding assistance
We’re helping young people access funding to use the Duke of Ed Framework
There are two types of funding support available:
- For individuals and groups
- For Specialised Duke of Ed Centres
Our funding assistance is possible thanks to the generous support we receive from the Australian Federal Government, our Award Ambassadors, and our many other Supporters.
Individuals and Group Funding
Duke of Ed Leaders can apply on behalf of individuals or groups experiencing hardship and requiring financial assistance to use the Duke of Ed Framework. The funding seeks to partially or fully cover expenses, such as registration fees and other costs associated with completing a Duke of Ed Level, depending on the situation of the applicant(s).
For individuals without a Duke of Ed Centre or Duke of Ed Leader, please contact your State or Territory Office to discuss how to register as a User.
Applications for individuals experiencing hardship are open all year round.

Specialised Duke of Ed Centres
A Specialised Duke of Ed Centre is a partner that can access our co-employment funding to subsidise the costs of delivering the Duke of Ed Award Framework in their school or organisation where there are groups of Users experiencing financial hardship.
Our grants co-fund the cost of one or more employed Duke of Ed Leaders up to a maximum of 60% of the application’s funding. Additionally, Specialised Duke of Ed Centres can apply to partially or fully cover expenses, depending on the situation, to a maximum of 40% for between 20-100 Duke of Ed Users. The maximum amount per User is $1,000 and is capped at $100,000 depending on the number of User's for the total application.
Specialised Duke of Ed Centre funding is limited and cannot be guaranteed. All applications will be considered, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria. All successful applicants will be required to sign our Terms and Conditions.
