Welcome to our new website

July 14, 2015

Welcome to our new website that reflects the needs of our growing and diverse organisation. New look, additional features, easier navigation and a great search function.

Our website has been redesigned around the information needs of our participants, volunteers, parents and partners. Content ideas and user feedback from you will ensure we keep this website relevant and user friendly.

Since the launch of our previous web site in 2008 The Award in Australia has seen annual participant registrations rise to 23,000 per year requiring a volunteer base of some 80,000 volunteers managed by 1,132 Award Units. Our reach in terms of diversity has steadily grown and we see more high need and special need young people undertaking and completing an Award. Our online technology has been critical in supporting our growth and retaining relevance. Our donors and supporter base has provided the funding to invest in these new projects and to increase access to all young Australians.
