Edmund Rice Camps NSW runs recreational, group-based camp programs for children and young people (5-15yo) experiencing significant and complex disadvantage. Edmund Rice Camps NSW operates on a 1:1 ratio of volunteers to children, with volunteers playing a vital role in delivering each camp program. Edmund Rice Camps NSW camp programs are an ideal choice for young people completing their Residential Project as part of their Gold Award. As a volunteer leader on camp, you will work within a supportive team to deliver an unforgettable week to children and young people at risk. You will broaden your understanding of social justice and the issues facing disadvantaged children, discover new skills and abilities, meet new people and have some fun too! Edmund Rice Camps run every school holidays, from Monday morning to Friday evening; to be eligible you must be 16 years of age and attend both New Leader and Orientation Day training.
