Getting started is simple

The Duke of Ed can help you in so many ways! Use your achievements to count towards your school electives, get a job or go onto university after school! Register through an active Duke of Ed Centre. Most young people join through their school, club or a local community organisation.

Here’s what you’ll need before you begin:

The name of your Duke of Ed Centre (e.g. your school or community group) Find a Duke of Ed Centre here
Your Duke of Ed Leader’s name and email (if you already know it)
Your contact details (i.e. email, home address and phone number)
A parent or guardian’s name, email and phone number
Your birthdate (must be over 13 years old to register)

Once you're ready:

1. Complete the online registration form.
2. Hit submit - your details will be checked and approved.
3. Once approved, you’re officially registered and ready to begin your Duke of Ed journey! Your Leader will guide you to next steps from here.

How much does it cost?

For fee information, please contact your Duke of Ed Leader in the first instance. If needed, your State or Territory Duke of Ed Office can provide further support.

Fees are available for Casual Users (pay as you go), with whole-of-school, whole-of-organisation, and wholesale pricing options also available.

The Duke of Ed is a fully inclusive youth development Framework. Funding assistance for individuals or groups may be available to cover registration fees and activity costs.
