Logo and Brand Guidelines

At the heart of our brand identity is our name and logo. It has been specially crafted and is unique to The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award
  • Never recreate the logo or any of its elements.
  • You must always use the master artwork provided.
  • Do not squash or distort the logo.
  • Don’t just grab a logo off the website (like the one above) to use on printed items, it is too low quality.  Download the correct logo below

Permission for use of the “proud to” logos must be obtained through contacting the following :

  1. Your Award Leader
  2. State and Territory offices

Please refer to the IAF Brand Guidelines for correct reference to and execution of the brand elements.

The Award must be referred to as “The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia” in the first instance with reference thereafter as either “the Award” or “The Duke of Ed” being acceptable.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award logo is a registered trademark, and must only be used by those authorised to do so. Please refer to the Logo Guidelines above for the correct logo.

Since the establishment of Award in Australia in 1959 the following names have been used

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme (1950’s to 1970s)

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Australia (1980 to 2013)

CURRENT: The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia

The names and trademarks ‘The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Australia’, ‘The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Young Australian Challenge’ and the names of any related companies and those trademarks described above, (together the DEIA Marks) may not be used without prior approval of the National Award Authority.

All uses of DEIA Marks must comply with the guidelines set out in Schedule 3.0 of the Governance Policy.  The DEA Marks may not be used in any other form or adapted in any way. No DEIA Mark may be used with or appear in close proximity to another trade mark without the National Award Authority’s prior written approval
