The second Duke of Ed National 60th Anniversary Award Trail in NSW will be unveiled on Wednesday 6 Nov 2019 and I sincerely hope you are able to join in the celebrations.
The plaque marks the section from Govetts Leap (Blackheath) through to Victoria Falls in the Blue Mountains and is generally known as a Duke of Ed highway. On the day, the Anniversary Trail will be officially unveiled and there will then be an opportunity for appropriately equipped and supervised groups to walk some of the trail. We also have the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre theatrette booked out to cover wet weather contingency and other educational purposes. Whilst morning tea will be served, we will be unable to cater to specific special dietary needs. Any groups wanting to walk will need to provide their own food, water, weather protection, any necessary equipment, have an appropriate risk management plan and abide by Blue Mountains NP rules.
To confirm your attendance, please REGISTER before 18 October.
